I was born in Caldwell, Texas and moved to Odessa when I was 3 years old.  My first school was Reagan Magnet School where I spent my first 7 years of public school.  I have wonderful memories of these years and hope to provide the same wonderful experience to my students.  I am a 2001 graduate of Permian High School, where I met my husband.

I am a graduate of Tarleton State University of Killeen, which I attended while my husband was serving in the United States Army.  He served our country for six years, and served in Iraq, Korea, and helped with the Katrina hurricane patrol in New Orleans.  We have been married five years and now have a new baby son named Colton. We have two dogs, Gunner and Lulu, and one cat, Allie. 

My teaching career began in Copperas Cove, TX teaching first grade.  My passion has always been to help others, and I look forward to helping my students learn to love school. I hope they have the same wonderful experience that I had at Reagan Magnet School.
